Relaxin with the Leonards

Ian has been asking for pictures of him and Parker lately. In this case Parker was just hanging out in her bouncy seat, and Ian brought over her yellow seat and sat down beside her. He must have thought they made a cute pair because he started demanding, "Ash! Picture! Picture! Momma! Picture!"

What has got Parker's attention so riveted that she'll not only tolerate tummy time but raise her head up? The Incredibles. The only time I can get her to raise up or partially turn over is when she is trying to postition herself so that she can see the tv.

Here she is just relaxin on the couch...

PJs

I was going to get some pictures of Parker to use for our Christmas card. When Ian saw Parker in her red jammies he decided he needed some red jammies on too. Then when he realized we were taking pictures of her, he, of course, needed pictures too.

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving. Here is how it started. Ian helped entertain Parker while Amy and I (mostly Amy) did some cooking.

Ian was so sweet, he kept trying to feed me spoonfuls of cream puff filling. What I didn't realize was that he had brought some over to Parker while she was in her bouncy seat. When I went to pick her up a few minutes later this is what I found.

Here she is after she got all cleaned up.

We eventually made it over to the Leonards. It was us, Curt's brother Eric, his wife Amy, their 5 kids, Curt's parents, his other brother Scott, and the chinese woman staying with Curt's parents, Yin.

Ian has such a good time running after his other cousins. I hope that Parker has that much fun running after Ian some day.

This is how Park spent most of her first Thanksgiving.

Parkder

Uncle Curt took some really cute pictures of Parkder last night.

Here she is helping mommy get some laundry done. It's amazing how much laundry we do with two kiddos and three adults. It's never ending.

There were a bunch of kids playing at the playground when we went yesterday. Ian had a good time with them, and Parker and I went down the slide a few times too.

Ash and Mini-me

Sunny Days

We are having so much fun visiting with the Leonards. It's amazing to see how Parkder (that's what Ian calls her) watches Ian run around, and how Ian wants a part in every thing we do for her.

As you can tell, my child is not going hungry.

Parkder liked the lights and noises on her bouncy seat at home, but the bouncer that Amy has has water, bubbles, and noise. Parker loves it. It's a little bit loud because something is broken, but it's worth it to have her so entertained.

Tummy time. She tolerated it a lot longer today than she normally does. I think it's because she was busy watching Ian run laps around her.

Yes, I put my daughter in green

I have been putting Parker in Ian's old, warm pajamas. I know they are boy colors but they look so cute on her!

Parker seems to be really entertained by football. She must get that from her dad cause it's definitely not from me. She can't watch the cowboys with Grandpa right now, but her she is watching the Seahawks with Uncle Curt.

Uncle Curt was trying to get Parkder to roll over. He told her she could have the chocolate if she did.

Park's Cave

It has rained every day since we got to Seattle on Tuesday. It is also a little bit chilly, and Parker has a cold, so we put this cover over her car seat that Amy use to use for Ian. I'm not sure Park knows quite what to think of it.
