Stairs

This is what she did as soon as she saw Amy's stairs. Arrrrrgh! It drove me nuts, thank goodness we don't have stairs.

Last day in Washington

Amy made the cutest list of things she loved about Parker. If you want to, you can check it out here. She is such a good aunt, even if Parker loves Uncle Curt more...

Hank thinks Parker looks just like me in this picture.

Three kids in the car... wow. They loved it though. Half the time we couldn't figure out who was making what noises.

Yay Skeattle!

We haven't taken nearly as many photos as maybe some of you would have liked, but we've been too busy having fun to take pictures. Yesterday we needed a break from shopping while at a mall so we let the kids play in this play area. Parker loved it, she crawled after all the kids and was trying to get up on all the big kid toys. I wish our malls at home had areas like this.

James hung out and watched Ian and Park play.

Ian wanted pigtails too, and he got them even though his dad tried to protest.

Parker loved playing with everything that wasn't a toy, like the sliding glass door, the curtains, and my least favorite... the stairs.

Since we were already in Washington Parker and I decided we couldn't go back to North Carolina without visiting the Leonards in Bonney Lake. Parker didn't know quite what to think of the boys at first but she loves to play with them now.

then trying to share it with James.

James enjoying his pear. I love this little man, he is so sweet and cuddley. He smiles all the time, and makes the funniest growling noises when he is concentrating on something.

9 Month Stats

We had Parker's 9 month visit in between trips last week. She is doing pretty well, in fact we took her off her asthma medication for now. As for growing, she is 18 lbs 7 oz, and 27.5 in long which continues to place her in the 50th percentile for both.

Happy 50th!

This weekend Parker and I were lucky enough to go to Idaho to celebrate Hank's grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary. It was so nice to see two people who had figured out how to make it work, and to get to meet so many from Grandma's family! People came from near and far to celebrate with them, and all in all we had a really good time.

Parker amused herself for a long time crawling under the tables and all the chairs.

The whole clan: Becky, David, and Danielle(Barron), Mona and Scott(Nesbitt), Kim and Ryan Bush, Parker and I, Grandma and Grandpa Nesbitt, and Bayleigh and Jacob(Barron).

Parker and Grandpa

The party was in Idaho so that Grandma's many family members could be there, and I think we had a pretty good turnout...

Promotion!

Hank recently got promoted to 1st Lieutenant. They just happen to have the little ceremony for it while Kim and Ryan were here so they got to participate which was pretty cool.

Pool!

It is pretty hot in NC so we got Parker a pool the other day. We haven't had a lot of time to play in it, but Parker got to at least try it with Uncle Ryan before we left.

Her favorite part was trying to drink the water from the hose...

And this is part of my birthday present from Cami... a ice cube tray shaped liked dentures. I have to admit, I think it's pretty awesome, but I think Hank was a little grossed out...

Home!!

We are home!!! Hank and I love having all our things back, and space to put them in. Parker loves having so much space to crawl around and explore in.
She especially loves the bathroom. She pulls the toilet paper and plays in the toilet bowl. It is so funny cause we will be in her room putting away clothes and Parker will just take off out the door and down the hall, headed straight for the bathroom.
"Mom, did you know there's a pool in here?"

Drinking from her sippy cup in the kitchen.

Sharing a fudgsicle with Dad.

Funny girl found a ziploc bag of gummy worms in her diaper bag and had them opened before we could stop her.

Grammy got here on Wednesday and is going to be hanging out with us for a few days.
