Grandma is so nice!

So today Parker and I got home from shopping to find a box came in the mail for her. G and G Bush(and I'm sure Ryan had a hand in picking stuff out) sent the cutest pair of boots for Parker! Here she is modeling them with her PJs. They are made by John Deere, by the way, pretty cool huh Ian?


The box also contained some toys that she already loves. This one is a little dangerous because she swings it around like a mad woman. I have already learned to stay out of range while she has it.

My life saver gummies were also in the box, yippee! Thanks for everything G and G Bush!! By the way Grandma, Parker goes to sleep every night with her white care bear. It is soft and fuzzy so she strokes it, or if she is mad she pulls it over her face and holds it tight. It is really cute.

Parker spent some time over at Aunt Nicki's house today, and I think the cat was just too much for her. I ended up having to give her a treatment tonight which she, of course, tried to eat....

Feet

Parker seriously loves her feet. She can be crying and mad, and as soon as you take her feet out she is happy.

Momma was tired and needed a nap. Parker was happy to lay with me for the most part, but after a little while she wiggled herself sideways, and there she lay, happy as could be.

Friday Night Game

Friday night we went to Skaneateles to see my cousin Kelsey's volleyball team play. It was fun to get to see Kelsey play.

This is before the game, while JV was playing, we took Park's legs out of her outfit. She couldn't have been happier.

She obviously gets no attention at all.

Parker was so tired she fell asleep during the game. Which is no small feat considering how loud the music and cheering was. I kept yelling at my family to stop clapping because it startled her. They didn't appreciate it, and neither did the girls behind us that my mom yelled at. Haha.

Meggers

Megan came over for dinner and to watch American Idol last night since she had to go back to school today. As it turns out, Parker and Grandma got to take Megan back, so Parker got to see her first dorm room. I can't believe Meg's a freshman this year. I can't imagine what it's going to be like sending Parker away one day. Good thing that's a looooong time from now.


It amazes me that Parker plays with everything on her saucer (sorry there have been a lot of pictures of the saucer lately, it's her favorite). She has even figured out how to get the taller toys into her mouth.

Lazy Sunday

More evidence of how Parker likes to play with her blanket. She thinks it's so funny to pull it over her head, unless there's no one around to take it back off...

Parker likes nothing better right now then to be half naked and playing with her feet. She doesn't really try to eat them, she mostly just likes to pull on them.

Yay for Uncle David!

Uncle David is finally home! I have missed him, and am very happy that the army training is finally over and he is home to hang out with. He is a nice uncle, and brought Parker home some of mommy's favorite gummy bears. She really enjoyed them.

Parker apparently rolled over twice the other day while my mom was watching her. My mom says she was on her stomach, and was so mad about it she flipped herself over. I guess she'll only do it when she is really upset because I have yet to see it.

Double G (as my dad refers to her) had to come up north for a doctors appointment, then she came over and hung out for a while.

Grandpa use to try to give Parker ice cream solely, I believe, to try to get a rise out of me. Today I actually let him give her a little tiny taste.

She really didn't like it very much. I think it was too cold for her.

Cherry Flavoring

Parker is really funny. We have been having to give her a decongestant because she's stuffy. She never has a problem swallowing it once it's in, it's just getting it into her mouth that is the hard part.
