She was feeling a little better this afternoon though, and after unsuccessfully trying to steal my book from me she went and found another one and acted like she was reading it...

Poor Park
Poor Park, you know it is bad when your second nap of the day happens before noon and on the floor...
Friends and the pool
Park loves to color, but only got about 5 minutes with the markers before she convinced me that that was a bad idea and we switched to crayons.
There is not much of anything in Jacksonville that is for little kids, so it is nice to finally have at least a pool for them.
Tenley, Keslyn, and Parker. Charly was there too.
Last week a new pool opened up about a half mile from us. It is pretty cool. It is zero entry and only 4 ft at the deepest, plus it has a sprinkler area on the side. We went on Saturday with 3 of our friends to try it out.

If you are wondering why I am posting on a Monday morning, well... Park has been throwing up all morning. She is finally went back to sleep after her 3rd nap. Hopefully she will feel better when she wakes up.

Hail and Farewell
Last night was the "Hail and Farewell" at the O'club for the residents from my clinic who were graduating and the newbies coming in.
Park helped mommy get ready (i.e. steal my makeup and shoes and make me chase her to get them back), and then she went over to Sheila's to play ninja with her boys.
Laryn's husband didn't want to go so she went as my date. Brandy is in the middle, she is another CNA from the clinic.

Grapples
Park really likes her new beach chair we got today, she was breaking it in while eating a Grapple. That's right, a grapple, a mix between an Apple and a Grape. I think they just taste like a really juicy, good apple.

Sugarland and Keith Urban
Sheila, Laryn, and I ditched out of work a couple of hours early on Friday. We drove to Raleigh to have dinner and go to the Sugarland/Keith Urban concert.

Happy Birthday Anthony!
Tomorrow is Anthony's birthday, but Sheila is going to the Keith Urban concert with Laryn and me, so we went out and had ice cream tonight to celebrate.
Parker took Paul's cover and was wearing it around most of the night.

Keslyn and Laryn
This weekend was beautiful (until we tried to go to the beach), and busy as usual. We shopped, went the gym, went to the pool, went to the beach, and ate at friend's houses both nights.
This morning Parker and I hung out outside and played with bubbles.
Kes actually makes Parker look reserved, she seriously doesn't stop moving.
Parker even laid on her belly and waited for the waves to come in.

She alternated between the electronic bubble wand, the normal one, and the bubble mower.
Then this afternoon, right before we went the beach, it got cloudy. We waited for the rain to stop and then went anyways.
Keslyn and Parker were crazy, both would run straight into the waves.

After the beach we went back to Laryn's house and her husband cooked us dinner. It was really fun, and the girls got along well. Thanks Laryn and Kes!

Goofy Baby
Just Park being nutty...
(I am not sure if you can tell but she is soaking wet from jumping in the pool with her clothes on)
She is not very interested in the baby swing anymore, she is very good at staying on the big girl swing.
