Gray Parker

Parker has come home from school talking about all sorts of funny things.

Parker: Mom, I'm not going to be this Parker anymore, I'm going to be a different Parker.

Me: What kind of Parker are you going to be?

Parker: A white Parker.

Me: You already are a white Parker.

Parker: No mom, I'm a gray Parker but I'm going to be a white Parker.

Ok.

North County Academy of Dance

Parker had her first dance class today! It was an hour long ballet/tap class that she loved. Her teacher was great, there was only one other little girl there, and Parker did great- paying attention and listening the whole time. I was so proud of her, she really picked it up fast.
I didn't get a picture of her in her ballet slippers and she looks funny here because it was in the middle of class and she wanted to get back to the teacher for tap, but I'll get some better ones next week.
She doesn't have tap shoes yet, we're going to have to go get some this week.

5 months

Right before my family invaded Dallas had her 4 month visit and I think I forgot to post her stats. She was 15 lbs 2 oz which was the 82% for her weight and I don't remember how tall she was but she was in the 77% for her height. She is definitely growing. She is so funny, she refuses to roll over. I put her on her stomach for tummy time and she eventually gets tired, puts her head down and sticks her thumb in. She doesn't get mad and roll over like most babies. She is plenty strong enough, she rolls on her side all the time, she just doesn't seem to want to. What a nut.

Rice cereal

Dallas had her first taste of rice cereal on Saturday and she... hated it. We're going to wait a few more weeks before introducing anything else.

Parker

Parker is getting so big, and is such a good big sister. Here are some funny things about her.
- she is obsessed with the color pink, if she had it her way all her clothes would be pink
- she is crazy about dresses, she asked every day for a princess dress
- she likes frozen meatballs like most kids like chicken nuggets
- she can always get a smile from Dallas, and does the funniest baby talk
- she likes to go on runs with me but will stop and say "I have no more energy" and then a few seconds later will start running again and yell "Now I have more energy!"

And these I put in so that you could play a round of "Where's the baby?"

Seaworld with the Bowsers

Hank and I laughed the other night wondering if one day Parker is going to say "but mom, do we HAVE to go to Seaworld (legoland, the zoo, or disneyland)?" We go pretty often, but Parker doesn't seem to be sick of it yet. Tuesday we had the chance to go to Seaworld with the Bowsers. Park had a blast- she loves their boys.
We let them play in the Sesame Playland for a long time.

And let Park and Jacob go on a few rides.

The boys are always really helpful. Chance didn't complain at all when I plopped Dallas in his lap for a few minutes. (They actually share the same birthday, funny huh?)
Dallas is always so good.
Park checking out the dolphins.
We were able to see the whole Dolphin show this time, Blue Horizons, which was pretty cool. We also saw the Pet show which Parker LOVED.

We had a really fun day, thanks for letting us come Ally and Travis!

Circus Vargas

Monday night we went out to eat and then to Circus Vargas with the Bowser crew. It was a small but fun circus that I think the kids enjoyed ( I know Park did).
Dallas was really interested in the tent and everything outside.
They had a pre-show for the kids where they taught them to balance these peacock feathers.
Chris was really good at it!
Ally and Chloe
Hank, Dallas, Chance, and Jacob
This may be the only smiling picture she took all night.

Gabriela's Birthday

Today was Gabriela's 4th birthday party. It was nice to just have to walk across the street to get there.
Princess Dallas.
It was Aimee's birthday too.
Dallas was hysterical playing with the balloon.
She was also pretty funny later on. She is obsessed with her feet, but is too chunky to get them to her mouth.

Disneyland with Dad

My two sweet girls.
Thanks for the stickers Grandpa Nesbitt!

Hank's class of students graduated Wednesday so he and the instructors were given a 96 this weekend. We decided to take advantage of his time off and go to Disneyland together.
Who knew they had goats at disney? Park loved them of course.
It was pretty warm yesterday so I had to keep her covered but cool... I think she pulled it off.
We got to go on tons and tons of rides- some Parker picked and some Mommy and Daddy picked.
We also got to meet Cinderella....
Sleeping Beauty...
and Snow White.
My favorite character of the day was Goofy. Parker hugged him for like 45 seconds straight and he would not let us interrupt it to take a picture. He put his pointer finger up like "wait a minute" when I tried and he told Hank to "hush" when he tried. I thought it was really sweet.

We had to get a picture with Pluto, he is one of her favorites.
And Mickey of course.
Then we explored a little bit of Toon Town.

And went on a few more rides. One of my new favorites is the Submarine ride. It doesn't have fast pass but it is worth waiting for.
