Busy

We have been pretty busy since Ry got here so I am going to do my best to catch up. On Friday we went up to SOI to see Hank in the change of command ceremony. It was pretty impressive (but probably something I only need to see once until Hank is the one who is in command).

While Ry was here I figured he and Hank would play a lot of shooting games, what I didn't expect was how much they would play Wii Bowling. They've got the technique down for sure.

On Saturday the Bowsers came over for lunch and some real bowling. Chloe showed up in some adorable cowboy boots.

Park loved bowling with the boys, I'm not sure the boys loved bowling with her though. She kept trying to steal the balls and take a turn whenever anyone wasn't looking.

Lego Waterpark

Last month Legoland opened a brand new water park. We hadn't tried it out yet, so yesterday we went with the Bowsers.

Jacob and Chris

It worked out really well because Ryan, Chance, and Chris got to go on all the big kid rides together while Ally and I took Jacob and Parker to the little kids pool.

Those are foam legos you can stack on your tube.

I didn't get any pictures of the little kid pool because I as in there with them, so I will steal them from Ally once she blogs them. Park seriously loved it though. They had a toddler lazy river and slides all going into her pool that she wanted to go on over and over and over. I had a hard time getting her out even when her lips were blue, she was shivering, and I know she was hungry.

I couldn't get a normal smile out of her.

After lunch the big boys went on a roller coaster while the munchkins rode these airplanes a couple of times.

Parker was totally freaked out that he moved...

Del Mar Beach

Yesterday we went to the beach for a couple of hours. Park and Ry built sand castles together for a while, and then Ry went swimming. Park won't swim in the ocean anymore so she was bored and since I wouldn't take her home she did something she usually never does, she ditched me and found a friend. Park couldn't care less about other kids most of the time, so this was a big deal. She just walked up to a little girl a couple of people down, and sat playing in the sand with her for almost the entire time Ry was in the water. I am so glad she is getting more social.

Apparently she was tired afterwards, she made Ry drag her like this almost the entire way.

Legoland With Uncle Ry

It was hot when we went to Legoland yesterday, so we mostly just let Parker run around in the water.

She ran around in these fountains for a while.

She really loved this little water park though.

Ry tried to take her to this one but she didn't like it... at all.

Park asked for pictures with the Bionicles.

Everyone needs a good photo with Darth.

Mechanized Museum

Uncle Ry is here! Park was running circles she was so excited when she woke up and he was here.

There is a mechanized museum 5 minutes away from our house that we have never been to so this morning while we were running errands we stopped to check it out.

Park insisted on bringing her stroller in, and on trying to drive every vehicle we would let her get in.

There were some pretty cool old vehicles in there.

Ry's favorite jeep.
Dune Buggy on steroids.

The Padres

A couple of weeks ago Chiles gave away tickets to the military for a Padres game. We were able to snag a few, so on Tuesday we went to Petco Park with Travis and his three boys.

I stole this one from Ally's blog, I thought it was cute.

Park was 100% not interested in the game, but had fun with the boys.

One of the ushers gave Park a tattoo.
It was one of the quickest baseball games I have ever been to, SD made quick work of Toronto, but we had fun.
