Bus Stop

Today is picture day at school so I thought I'd get some pictures of Park while she was dressed up.
Miles loves to walk to the bus stop, especially because usually a few kids stop to pet him.
Sometimes Dally is dressed when we go, sometimes she's not.
Wow, I look tired.
Henry is such a happy boy.
This is Daniel, he is a rockstar on our soccer team, and also our next door neighbor.
This is Jackie, she is in Parker's class and lives down the street (with Gabriela and Parker).

My pretty girl is starting to really like school.  I volunteered in her classroom for the first time this week and loved it.  It was so fun to get to see her in action, and get to see what she does and who she's friends with.
This is just a random picture of Dally playing in a box.

September

I could take a picture like this every day, she loves to hold him.

It has been a very warm September so we are still swimming- which Park loves.

Swim Lessons

Gabriela has been taking swim lessons from this lady in Fallbrook, Char.  She does small classes every 1/2 hour in the afternoon, and Aimee has been raving about her so we decided to give it a shot.  Unfortunately this is her last week of teaching this summer because her husband is really sick. Park has LOVED it though, she has a lot of the basics down so Char has been teaching her how to freestyle, fixing how she holds her head when she swims, and working on her breathing.

Dally likes to call the cat, Hobo, and then act all freaked out when he comes near her.
These three are impossible to get a good picture of together.  Melissa- I really really want to get a good picture for Christmas cards while we are at Mikaela's wedding, think you're up for it?

Soccer

So today was Parker's first soccer game... and she cried the entire time and refused to play.  She told me afterwards it was because her cleats hurt her feet.  It was insanely frustrating and embarrassing, I am going to try and help her wear in her cleats this week so hopefully it'll get better.
This is her team playing, the Cheetahs.

Watching soccer really wore Dally out.

2nd day on the bus

Here is Parker getting on the bus the second day of school.  The bus is just for our neighborhood and they only pick up at one spot, the middle of the neighborhood, so a whole bus worth of students make a mad dash to get on every morning, it's kind of crazy(and it's only k-3).  Park loves the bus now, she has absolutely no problem coming and going on it. I think it helps that two of our neighbors who have kindergarten students, Gabriela and Daniel, ride with her.
Henry wakes up with us, eats, and then falls asleep on the way to the bus every morning, it's kind of nice.  Dally is ok with the walk every morning (especially because she gets a freezer pop on the way out the door), and Miles LOVES taking walks first thing in the morning.

Park also had her first soccer practice last Thursday.  Right now they are practicing on the grass part of a softball field which Dally loves because she can sit and play in the dirt of the infield.
Park did ok, she is tentative and it doesn't help that there are only 2 girls on the team.  The other little girl went off and did her own thing on the side while they were scrimmaging and the coach didn't seem to care.  I made Park at least try, but I think she is a little intimidated by how aggressive the boys are.  She will just have to learn.
