The Park at the park

Yesterday we went on our first play date to the park with one of the other wives in 3/2. Parker wasn't very excited, she slept through the entire thing, but it was nice for me to get out of the apartment and just hang out.

Gtown

Carrie sent us the pictures of our visit to Georgetown so I thought I'd take the oppurtunity and blog them before I get my camera working again.

Last day at the lake

I swear we didn't put this picture on to make Ian jealous...

we may have been hoping this one does though....

Aunt Nicki, Connor, and Devon brought Parker some cute toys and hair accessories. I love love love the head bands.

We think poor Connor has poison ivy and isn't allowed to touch the Parkacite tonight.

We love the lake.

Hanging out

Hanging out with Grandpa.

Holding onto mommy for dear life.

Parker's first trip to a spa. Aunt Nicki says she has to wait a little while before she can get her first treatment. Mommy thinks the yummy lunch we had there was quite enough for now. Thanks Aunt Nicki!

I feel like I just keep repeating myself but Parker is seriously the best baby. Aunt Nicki says that she's never seen kids at Mirabeau and so we were a little nervous about Parker crying. It turns out she slept through the tour that Nicki gave us and all of lunch. She did manage to poop on her mommy's white skirt again as soon as we got to the car. Oh well.

Parker wasn't sure she liked pacifers at first but we found a small latex one that seems to be growing on her.

More family

Nicki went and picked up Meg on Saturday morning so that she could come play with us.

She had a hard time convincing Uncle David to let Parker go.

Later on Parker and Mommy were tired and needed a nap.

On Sunday morning Parker helped Grandma make some really yummy apple pies.

Ok, ok, I guess she mostly just supervised while Grandma made the pies.

Then she had to get cleaned up so we could go to church.

Parker sat up front with Grandpa during church and then helped him conduct his interviews. She barely made a peep the entire time. Sunday night some of the family came over for dinner. Here is Parking getting to meet some more of her cousins.
Aidan, Tracy, and Ashton.

And Rob

After dinner Parker played with her Grandpa for a while.

And this is just a funny picture. Even Shadow wanted to take a nap with Parker, too bad for him the closest he could get was on the floor near the couch.

Her first boat ride

Grandpa and Shadow took us for a nice boat ride yesterday.

Parker was wrapped up like a burrito baby and slept the entire time.

Check out the trampoline! I can't wait to use it next summer, it looks really fun.

Parker's new friends

On Thursday we drove up to DC and Parker met her Godparents, Ally and Travis. We enjoyed getting to spend some time with them. Thank you again for taking us in for the night!

Ally and the Park

This is Jacob, Parker's future husband. Isn't he cute?

Jacob let Parker borrow his crib for the night. Parker thought the blue was a nice change from the pink she is usually surrounded by.

On our way out of town on Friday morning we stopped by Georgetown so that my friends could meet Parker. Mommy forgot her camera but Carrie had her's. Send us some pictures Carrie so we can blog them!

We also stopped by Great Bend so Aunt Julie and Uncle Joe could meet Parker.

Joe Joe was home for the weekend for his birthday. Happy Birthday on Sunday Joe!

Jenna ran home from a friends house just so she could hold Parker for a few minutes.

The real excitement of the day was when we finally got to my parent's house. Aunt Nicki didn't know we were coming. She was out on the driveway greeting my mom when we pulled in. We couldn't have asked for a better reception. She jumped up and down and then cried. We love you Aunt Nicki.

For some reason Connor can't remember Parker's name. He keeps calling her Peyton(my cousin Corissa's little girl). He sure does love to give her kisses though.

Grandpa was very excited to reunited with the Park.

Aunt Nicki and the boys slept over last night, then Aunt Nicki got some snuggle time this morning before she had to leave for work.
