Day...

I've actually totally lost track of what day it is, but that is pretty typical here at the lake. Every day is busy but full of lots of fun. I have tons of pictures to catch up on but here are a few.

My mom had a real coconut the other day that she broke open and then let Ian drink out of the shell. He thought that was cool.

Sunny Days

Yesterday Amy, Kristine, and I took off in the morning to go shopping at the outlets, while Grandma kept the littles busy (what a dream to shop without them!).

They were playing with playdough when we left, which is one of Parker's favorite activities, even at home.

Grandma also got out stamps and let them stamp away...

It was really hot so after lunch at Mickey Park she took them down to the water.

James insisted on wearing the goggles the entire time.

Parker is getting pretty fearless. She has no problem swimming in the deeper water.

Ian is hysterical to watch roll, jump, or slide off the big trampoline.

Parker put rocks on her eyes and called them her "goggles."

It was a fight to get them all out of the water even after 7. We finally got them all bathed and fed and they still wanted to play.

Jason's Birthday

Although it wasn't actually on Sunday, we celebrated my cousin Jason's 20th birthday with a dinner then. It was kind of sad actually, Jason had been sailing with his baby, his poodle chewie, earlier in the day. The boat tipped over and Chewie's collar got caught and he got dragged and held under. By the time Jay rescued him he wasn't breathing so Jay had to do mouth to mouth. Luckily Chewie survived, but wasn't feeling well while we were over.

After dinner Jay made us a fire so we could make S'mores, yuuum.

Then Great Grandma Betty brought out Sparklers, which were the big hit of the night.

My parents bought and put together this awesome swing set for the kids. It is up by the house so the kids have something to do when we are doing stuff inside.

Then we all went downstairs to cool off.

Ian, Amy, and Grandpa went for a sail while the munchkins napped.

Later we took some of the older kids tubing.

After they were done going fast Parker and James jumped in the tube for a ride of their own. I was really surprised how well Park did.

Rainy Day

Friday we woke up to rain, and it rained off and on most of the day. Amy was sad, but I haven't seen real rain in six months so I kinda loved it. We just hung out most of the morning, took a trip to Walmart, then came back for naps, and to hang out with Aunt Kristine.
I put Parker down for a nap in Grandma and Grandpa's room. A half hour later they came home and found her like this. She was having so much fun, and thought she was hysterical(btw she has underwear on).

Later Nicki, Tom, Meg, and Zoey stopped by for dinner. Here is the proud Grandma with her first Grandbaby.

The kids ate dinner outside. Park was licking Devon, totally egged on by her cousins. Right after this picture James started licking him too.

After all that rain it was really humid, so we decided to go for a night swim. It was 10 by the time we got done and changed, way past bedtime, but grandma decided it was time for cupcakes and ice cream. The kids were in heaven.

After dinner we got out the slip n' slide. The kids all had a really good time.
