Easter Egg Hunt #1

Park and I went to a Easter Egg Hunt/Party today. I am still not clear on who hosted it, but I know we were invited. At first Park had a hard time cause I had to wake her up from her nap, but she ended up really enjoying it. She got her hands painted (she refused to let them paint her face), ate some lunch, visited the petting zoo, and got easter eggs. They also had Sumo suits, blow up houses, and coloring tables.

Parker's favorite part was definitely the petting zoo. She was not afraid at all, and let all the animals eat out of her hands.

She picked up a ton of eggs. They did a really good job, and had lots of eggs for everyone. The only bad part was the entire field was muddy from two days of rain, and some kids accidently got into some fire ant piles. Ouch!

As we were leaving Parker ran up this ramp and refused to leave. She spent about ten minutes running up and down, and up and down.


She got as many eggs as could possibly fit in her bag.

Sheila's House

I had to work again on Saturday so Parker went to spend the day at my friend Sheila's. Sheila is a LPN who works with me at the hospital. She has three boys but both her her and husband really want to have a little girl, so it works out well all around, I have a babysitter and Sheila and Paul get their baby fix.

They have a cute puppy named Izzy that Parker really likes.

Miles was outside and they both wanted to play with him. They could let Izzy out though because she wanted to play and kept nipping Miles.

She tried out their trampoline but apparently didn't like it very much.

She loved the tent the boys had set up.

The fridge

There are days that I can't get Parker to eat ANYTHING, so I have started letting her get into the fridge to pick out what she wants.

Yesterday we went over to my friend Candace's house for dinner. Her little girl is 7 weeks now, and Parker was so sweet with her. She called her baby and was very gentle with her (right before she stood up and started jumping on the couch).

Park and I spent a lot of time in the airport on friday and monday, but Park made the best of it. She loved looking out the window at the planes.

As you can tell, Park really enjoyed the first part of the aquarium.

Once she woke up though it got better.

She really like Grandma's cool shades.

Saturday morning we decided to take the girls to the aquarium to see the fish and watch the dolphin show. Here is Samantha playing peek-a-boo in her jammies.

Parker fell asleep right before we got to the aquarium. I had to wake her up for the dolphin show, which she didn't really end up caring about.

Samantha and Parker both loved the playground. We let them play while we took a break from the sun.

Then we went back inside and checked out the fish. Samantha really liked them, while Parker was more interested in watching all the kids around her.
