CC, TX

Yesterday Parker and I flew down to CC to join in all the spring break fun! Hank's Aunt Linda and most of her family (we miss you Kassy!) are here too.
While they were waiting for us yesterday (and waiting, and waiting) they took Samantha to the beach. Apparently she didn't like it very much.

After a long trip with unexpected layovers, and planes that were full, Park and I finally made it. Parker was really good on the flights. I bought her a portable DVD player in anticipation, but it didn't help one bit. Every time I took it out all Parker wanted to do was push buttons.
Samantha came over and gave Parker a big hug.

They had a really good time together when we got home. Samantha is only 9 days older than Parker. Samantha wasn't really sure what to think of Parker though, after our long flights Parker was running circles around everyone.

Here they are together in a saddle.

Parker and her Grammy.

Parker, Chloe, and Samantha all got the same same dress, and looked so cute!

Warm Days

We really miss Grandma and her fantastic photography skills. I just can't seem to get Park to sit still long enough for a good picture.
I know you can't see her face in this one, but check out her socks. She insists on always wearing socks, and she usually picks them out herself.

They almost match her outfit, but definitely not eachother.

Tenley and Parker

Here are Charly and Parker at the beach on Sunday.

I don't know what happen to my camera with this one, but it turned out kinda cool.

Projects

Warm Weather

The weather in NC is truly strange. Tuesday we got snow, then by Saturday it was 80 degrees. Park and I prefer the warm weather. We spent at least a couple of hours at the park yesterday, just enjoying the sunshine.
Here is a picture my friend took of Tenley and Parker.

Aunt Amy

Last night I was telling Hank about the shirt that Amy sent for Parker and Parker chimed right in saying this, totally unsolicited. I figured I better catch it on camera.

Croup

Park and I are home today. We woke up to a light dusting of snow, a fever of 103.5, and breathing that sounded like Darth Vader. Working at the hospital sometimes has its advantages, like getting a 0800 appointment at 0745. As it turns out, Park has Croup.

Grandma's Gone..

Our last day with Grandma was jammed packed with projects we had left to do/finish. We did a lot landscaping (pictures of the finished product are on the "sisters" blog), some errands, some cooking, and a cake decorating class.
Then this evening we dropped Grandma off at the airport. We loved having her here and are sad to see her go, thanks for everything Grandma! Love you!

Grandma and the Beach

Since we were already out and about, and my mom has been asking most every day, Park and I took her to the beach. It was windy, but we still enjoyed walking along the beach, picking up sea shells.

Today was a very busy day. Along with church, we cleaned the house, visited the stables with our neighbor, went to the beach, and then had dinner with 3 of my friends.

Paige, our neighbor, bought a horse right before Christmas and keeps it at the stables right down the road from our house. She was taking her two young kids over to ride today, and invited us to come along.

Indy is huuuuuge, he is 17 hands high. He is a sweetheart though, and Parker loves him.

She was ok sitting atop him.

Until he moved, and then she was done with that.

She loved petting him though, and had the biggest grin on her face the entire time.
She kept running back and forth outside the fence while Paige's kids rode.

She also enjoyed petting a miniature horse, Sparkle, that Paige said is a mini-celebrity around the stables.

She was tiny, but very cute.

Funny Girl

Grandma has taken some really cute pictures of Parker while she has been here.

She likes to try on my shoes, including my slippers.
She was trying to have a tea party with Miles.

Trying out grandma's exercise thingy.

All tuckered out after a long day.

A Day Off

Grandma bought Parker this cute dress today, and this is what Parker chose to pair it with...

Doing video with Daddy.

She was sleeping like this, funny huh?

A ghost? Where?
