More Beach Receptions

The day of the reception it rained on and off all day until a hour before it started, then it cleared up and was beautiful.

Most of the Bennett's were there. Here is Jenna holding James (Addy).

Aunt Diane, Corissa, and Taylor

Park (who refused to leave Grandpa most of the night), Grandpa, and his friends from high school, the Allens.

My beautiful Momma

Ian jumped in the lake about 15 minutes after it started, suit coat and all.

Connor looking very handsome in his suit.

James and Devon

After a couple of hours the boys were done with the suits and ready to go swimming.

The little boys put on their life jackets so Park did too.

The beach and the Bunda

A trip to the lake is not complete without a ride on the bunda.

Park seriously loves her Grandpa, if he was around she was with him.

Uncle Mike and his newest Grandbaby, Taylor. She is so sweet, she just hangs out and never cries.

All the kids played in the water on Friday. James was a crazy man, throwing toys and diving into the water (and then had to be fished out).

Park played in the water, but ran to Grandpa when James got too crazy.

Waterslide!

While I worked on 7/3 Parker hung out at Sheila's. That day Sheila and her neighbors rented a 25 ft waterslide. It was awesome! (I loved it, Park-not so much)

Park drove this car around instead.

Kevin (all adults in these pictures, we had already kicked the kids off).

Happy 4th Of July!

Finally, some fun pictures! Park spent Friday and Saturday with Sheila and Paul while I worked (booooo!). They rented a huge blow up water slide with their neighbors and were outside on it all day on Friday. When I got out of work we kicked all the kids off and the adults played on it. It was seriously fun. Then Saturday afternoon they went over to a field on base were they had carnival food, blow up toys, and a bunch of different bands playing. I met them there after work.

We hung out, ate, played, and waited for the fireworks. Here is Dakota listening to his Ipod( one of the bands wasn't that good, can't say I blame him). Actually it was really funny to watch one band. They were the "Camp Lejeune Rock Band." They played rock music... in their military uniforms. Weird.

Sheila and Paul

Crazy face.

They played and wrestled forever.

I was afraid Parker wouldn't like how loud the fireworks were, but to my surprise she loved them. She was so tired though she fell asleep half way through, not even stiring as the cannons fired during the grand finale.

Boring

Park and I have had a tough week, leaving us without many pictures to blog. Here are a few of some of the staff at work wearing our Memorial Day/4th of July scrub tops.

We didn't actually plan to have red and blue bottoms, it just worked out that way.

I am working this entire weekend but hopefully I will still have some pictures to blog. Something is better than nothing, right?
