Key West

Our first port of call was Key West, which the boat arrived into at 7am Wednesday morning.

The first thing we did was have a quick visit from one of my friends,Kodi. She currently lives in Key West with her fiance, Brad.

There were a bunch of shops right by the docks, one had a ton of funny hats we enjoyed trying on.

Park and I picked out a couple of necklaces.

By far, Park's favorite part of Key West was the Chickies. We fed them lots of popcorn.

Then we went on a hour long trolley tour of the city.

It held Park's attention for about 10 minutes.

Hank and I enjoyed it though. We decided we needed to get stationed here.

The last thing we did was go to the Pirate Soul Museum.

It was really well done, but way too short.

We liked Key West better than Nassau. We'd like to go back and spend more time down there.

Dressin up

The second night aboard ship was the 'dress up' dinner.

Which we partly participated in.

When we got back to our cabin we found a elephant waiting for us.

and a cookie that Parker and her daddy shared.

Parker has also recently discovered Doritos.

Cruisin

After Park got her cast on Sunday morning we jumped in the truck and headed to Jacksonville FL to catch our cruise.

We drove over half way and then stopped for the night.

Then finished the drive Monday morning. We got there and got on the boat and then waited for it to take off. While we waited Parker decorated her cast (and her other leg).

Then we explored the boat, it was huuuge.

Parker thought we had a pretty cool view from our window.

We finished exploring, ate our first delicious dinner aboard, and headed back to our room for bed.

The next day was spent out at sea. Park passed the time playing games in the arcade.

Park is broken..

First of all, Daddy came home on Wednesday! He is here for 2 weeks and then he goes back to Iraq. Of course Park has been sick the entire time he's been home. Even worse though, was yesterday when Parker got up from her nap and wouldn't stand on her left leg. We had no idea was wrong, she was barely swollen, we couldn't think of anything she did yesterday that would have injured it, and there were no cuts or bruises. We took her to the ER and they did xrays. They told us nothing looked wrong, she might have arthritis from the virus that she had and would recover in 3-5 days. Since we are going on a cruise this week, I decided to call the pediatrician who was working in my clinic this weekend and see what he said. He brought her in and examined her and the xrays and told us she had a broken leg, but the break was very subtle and hard to see. So Park is now casted and due back in the clinic next week to see Ortho. We are just grateful she got taken care of, and will still be able to go on our cruise!

Daddy's truck

On Sunday Parker helped me wash Daddy's truck.

She actually kept saying it was her truck, then I would ask her who's truck it was, then she would say Daddy's truck.

Aunt Amy and the Beach

Aunt Amy brought Park home yesterday. On her only day here we decided to take her to the beach.

Park really enjoyed the sand.

She was tired though, and after a couple of hours she just laid down.

(Don't worry, at this point we took her home).

I just thought this was awesome, Park put Ian's Star Wars Mighty Mugg in her stroller.

So Much Fun

This was our best attempt at getting a picture of some of the cousins together. Park was the least cooperative.

She loved having so many women around with heels to choose from.

She is definitely going to need some dress up clothes for her birthday.

The last day I was there we went to dinner at Doug's Fish Fry. The kids were fascinated with the big salt water tank, and the model train that goes around the dinning room.
