Saturday Night

Since Dallas hasn't arrived and Grandma will be gone by Halloween we decided to take her to Legoland last night. We started at Sea Life.
39 weeks and 5 days
They had the aquarium decorated and had lots of cool facts about the fish up.
By the time we got to Legoland it was dark and all the decorations were lit- including all the people on stilts.
Park was so cute as Scooby-Doo, she got comments everywhere we went.

Grandma enjoyed the decorations- and getting to Brick-or-Treat with Park.

Del Mar

My mom loves to go to the beach when she comes, and Parker loves to play in the sand so we went for a couple of hours the other day. It was gray, but not very cold or windy.
I should probably take Parker more often- she was really excited and played for a long time in the sand by herself.

Then we took a walk down the beach and chased Sea gulls.

My mom finally convinced Park to go in the water- and then we couldn't get her out.

Storytime

I'm glad my mom is here to take lots of pictures- it's nice to be able to share some of our everyday activities. On Thursday mornings we go to story time at the library. They read stories, sing songs, watch a movie, and do a craft. It is by far one of Parker's favorite things to go to.

Grandma from the Lake is here...

But Dallas is not. I give her a strict talking to daily... but nothing. I am 39 weeks so it's got to be soon... Since Grandma is here we're doing some fun stuff with Park and lots of crafting projects.
Park was begging to go to Chuck E Cheeses so today we complied...

Park picked out a Scooby Doo costume for Halloween. Not surprising because she is obsessed.

Fakest smile ever... she had just woken up from a nap.

Snuggling.

Playing with Grandma outside.
Doing crafts.

Dog Parade

This is what life with Parker is like lately, dogs everywhere. One of the first things she does every morning is get them out. She ends up spending most of the day carrying a bag around stuffed with as many dogs as she can squeeze in. Nut.

Brick-or-Treat

I know it's early in October, but because we don't know when baby Dallas will make her appearance we decided to go ahead and check out Legoland's Halloween Brick-or-treat Saturday night party.

As most everything Legoland does, it was really cute. You could make your own lego pumpkin, participate in a dance party, enter halloween contests, ride rides, trick or treat, or just enjoy all the decorations.

Park kept telling us the ghost was getting her.

They had lots of trees and pumpkins lit up, along with people dressed as scarecrows, vampires on stilts, people on unicycles(all with lite-up clothing), and a guy juggling.

This was the BIG lego ghost- he was right next to the castle that had a light show on the roof with a pumpkin mouth that sang "Thriller."

This giant lego pumpkin was in a big playground where you were suppose to search for big lego candycorn. Park didn't care about the candy corn but she spent a long time running through the playground in the black lights.

They had some really cute decorations along the brick-or-treat trail.

Park was really good at saying "trick-or-treat" and then thank you. After we were done she ran through the rest of the park saying it.

She is impossible to get a good picture of.

Dad needed a picture with Darth Vader.

Happy Halloween!

Promotion!

Today was a big day for Hank- he got promoted to Captain! Congrats!
He had two of his friends pin on his new rank- Tom and Nate.

Here he is with his C.O. Park and I didn't go for the pinning, but we are really proud of him!
