Brick-Or-Treat

Yesterday was Legoland's first day of Brick-Or-Treat so of course we had to go!

The costumes we picked up for almost nothing after Halloween last year have really come in handy.  She really loves the Batgirl one.

They had lots of fun performances there.   This was a trio of singing witches.
And tap dancing skeletons?

It was less crowded then either of the times we went last year.

Parker was so excited to trick or treat.

Dally was excited for the apples they gave us.

Mine and Hank's favorite part was something new- a Paint in Motion performance.  It was really cool, the witch you couldn't tell what it was going to be until the end, and he painted the werewolf upside down and started spinning it near the end.  If you ever have the chance to see these guys- they are pretty awesome.
We stayed until the end and got to see the fireworks.  We love Legoland!

P.S. A couple of times during the paint in motion performance Parker pointed to the stage and told me "Look Mom, he's painting a rainbow for Jesus!"  It was so random, but cute none the less.

11 Months

Dally is getting more and more impossible to get a good picture of.  She will. not. sit. still.
Here is the cutest one.

And here are some of my attempts.

Park is key in getting her to look but even she was tired by the end.

At 11 months Dally....
1. can crawl and pull herself up on stuff
2. feed herself lots of finger foods and refuses baby food (she really loves cheese, cheerios, and anything chocolate)
3. follows her sister everywhere (including the bathroom), and can often be found playing in her room
4. loves taking walks in her red car, and eating popsicles in the garage when we are done
5. loves taking a bath, especially with Park
6. Has learned the "no,"refers to us as momma and Dada, and loudly contributes to conversation whenever possible
7. still loves her thumb

Paul

We were lucky enough to get to see Paul last week when he was in town for work.  Park was ridiculously excited to see him, she wouldn't leave him alone.

Big Mickey Park

Today I spent a good portion of the day up at SOI helping out at a Ball Gown Swap we did combined with  three other units, in preparation for the Marine Corps Ball that's held every year.  When I got home we went and got Frostys at Wendys then went to the park.

Dally attacked Park
Then head butted her.

Dally

Dally is a holy terror now that she is crawling.  She has already figured out how to eject dvds out of the playstation (she turned Parker's movie off 3 times in 5 minutes today), has discovered outlets, the powerstrip for the computer, the phone cord, and Mile's water dish.  Good thing she's so cute.
