James' Birthday Party

Was kids running around like crazies for 2 hours- and loving it.
Poor Park was so tired she was done after a half hour.

Poor Dally was tired.

Jude was pretty tired too.

Amy sandwich.

Seattle

We made it to Seattle safely Thursday morning after a fairly uneventful plane ride.  We basically went straight to James' 4th birthday party at a jump house, and then back to Amy's to hang out.  I am so glad Cami and Jude are here- I was able to get some good snuggle time in with him tonight.
Both nights the kids have snuggled up to Aunt Amy to read Christmas stories before bed.
He's so cute.
This is the Leonard's new kitten- Socks.

Jude enjoyed his bath in the sink last night.
All three munchkins attacked Curt.
James got a Mobigo for his birthday and has been playing it non-stop.

Christmas Card

Merry Christmas!

Random Parker quote of the week:  When I ask her a question the last couple of days she responds "What!!! I had a make-over!!", ok random....

Christmas Parties

I am thankful that a lot of the Christmas parties are happening early in the month so the girls and I can participate before we leave for Seattle on Thursday.  We started the weekend with the SOI ITB Christmas party on Friday night.

It is amazing how many gifts were donated for the kids.  Dally got a puzzle and a tea set.
Parker got this awesome tub full of Crayola supplies (she saw it when we were helping wrap on Wednesday and Santa's helper remembered how much she liked it), she was so excited about it, she had it in her hands Saturday morning as soon as she woke up and hasn't stopped coloring since.
On Saturday Parker and I went to her classmates birthday party and then over to the housing offices holiday party.  It was really cute- they had Mr. and Mrs. Claus, carolers, cookie decorating, funny pictures, games, food, hot chocolate, face painting, balloons, and of course snow.
Oh, and Comet and Cupid were there...
and some penguins.
And the Grinch showed up and harassed the kids playing in the snow.
Sledding in short sleeves and flip flops.
Last year we waited until the night before we left to open the presents that had been sent to the house.  This year we decided to open them a few days before we left so that the girls had time to play with them.  Park was in heaven, she has carried her new dog around all day while eating sno cones from her new machine and drawing non-stop(with no pants on of course).
Dad spent a few hours putting together toys and electronics.
Dally has been walking around with the help of her new cart.  Park is in love with it too, she steals it every chance she gets and fills it with dogs (it holds quite a few).

Girls

I love this little girl.  She is so independent now, crawling around and causing trouble.  She pretty much only wants me when she is tired or hungry, unlike her sister who wants my attention 95% of the time we are home.
She wants to the walk so badly.  She loves to stand, and to walk around holding onto things, she is just doesn't have the balance yet to do it on her own. (Their chairs end up all over the house by the way.  They play on them all day, Park drags Dally around, they tip them over to make forts, or pull them up to the couch or other objects so they can climb).
Parker 1. got this robotic pluto from disney and loves it, but is only allowed to play with it when Dally is sleeping for fear she will break it and 2.  insisted on buying this faux fur vest and wears it all the time.

Disneyland at Christmas

Yesterday I took the girls to Disneyland. I had heard that between the holidays was a great time to go and it was true- it was decorated for Christmas but there were barely any lines.
We headed over to California Adventure first to try out the new Little Mermaid ride.  It was cute, Parker liked it so much we rode it twice.

Then we wandered around for a while and bumped into some photo-ops.
Not sure why Mickey and Minnie are in Safari/Christmas outfits, but it was fun to get pictures with them.
Parker's favorite.
Then we saw the Bug's Life 4-d show.  I thought it was cool, the girls thought it was a little scary.

And when we came out Chip n' Dale were taking pictures.

Dally loved the rides in Bug's Life.
I asked her to stand in the middle and she refused, she would only stand next to Pluto.
Mr. Incredible just happen to be walking by.
The new Monsters Inc. ride.
Apparently yesterday was Jake's first appearance at the parks- lucky us!
Cinderella and her fairy godmother.

Dally's favorite was It's a Small World.  It was decorated and played Christmas music and she danced the whole time.

The fairies were really nice, they spent a lot of time looking through the pictures in Parker's autograph book, and talking to her about each one.  By the time we left the line was pretty backed up...
The longest we waited for anything was maybe 10 minutes, it was awesome!  We stayed for the Christmas Parade (which we loved but no pictures because I was holding Dally) and then headed home, exhausted but happy.
