Jog-a-thon

One of the big fundraisers at Parker's school is a yearly Jog-a-thon.  Park was ready for the challenge.
My double joggers tires are flat (plus it was muddy) so I didn't run it with her, but we had fun cheering her on.

Here's her class on the starting line.

The volunteer Marines marked their papers so they could keep track of how many laps they ran.

Park's teacher had already run 2 miles earlier in the jog-a-thon with her daughter.
She ended up doing 10 laps in 20 minutes, and it POURED right after they finished.

California Adventure

We knew we wanted to do at least two days at the parks so we booked a hotel room for Wednesday night.  Everyone was exhausted by the time we got back there so I thought maybe they would sleep in the next day... nope.  This was around six the next morning... eating donuts and watching Disney Junior from bed.
A couple of hours later I was getting ready and had set Henry down on the bed for a minute.  Apparently he thought the donuts would be fun to play with because he opened the box and was rolling in the sugar by the time we realized what had happened.

Donald was the first character we saw at CA and there was no line for him or Jesse, it was awesome.  Dally had been really into Toy Story and her Jesse doll (Parker's actually but Dally has since claimed it) so she was really excited.

We waited at least a half hour for the Toy Story ride and then when we were getting close to the front of the line the ride got shut down... of course.

Henry thought the characters were really funny, he especially liked Woody, he was laughing and laughing at him.

After naps and lunch we went over to Cars Land.  It was pretty packed so Hank and the girls rode a ride, then we had ice cream and walked around a little bit before leaving.

We couldn't resist the cone drink cups.

Then we headed over to Bug's Life because Parker is obsessed with the caterpillar ride that goes through food he's eaten including animal crackers that smell like vanilla.

Disneyland

Wednesday was beautiful, a perfect day to go to Disneyland... so we did.

Dally calls this Minnie dress her "princess" dress, and has been wearing it a lot lately.  Every time she puts it on she tells us "my beautiful" and then spins around in it.

Jasmine

Park messing with Dally over in Toontown.

Donald!  (I think this is the first time we've ever seen Donald...)

Merida

Even though she had napped apparently waiting in line for Merida was just too much for Dally.

Henry was laughing at one of Merida's attendants (he was pretty awesome about talking to all the kids in a scottish accent).

Tiana

Dally's favorite- Ariel.

Belle

The parade is our favorite part of Disneyland but it is really hard to stay until it starts at 7 (I know, in adult time that is nothing, but with three littles after a day at Disney 7 seems really late), but it is so worth seeing Dally's expressions as she sees the characters.

First Haircut

The other day Hank and I started trimming the hair around Henry's ears and then decided, eh, lets just really trim it.  Henry didn't mind at all, and it looks waaaay better without the newborn hair patches he had.
