Pool

I love this picture.

Park likes Grandma's expedition, she is a pretty good driver, she practiced on Daddy's truck this winter going up and down the hill.

The other night she got to go swimming with Daddy, Uncle Ryan, and Grammy. She loved it of course.

She likes to float around in her tube, or just swim with her daddy.

Crawling

Tell me this isn't the funniest crawl you've ever seen....

Lake Mathis

First of all, yes, that is a giant John Wayne cutout behind my daughter's crib. It was for Hank while he was in Iraq because his guys were calling him John Wayne, and now it keeps Parker company. It is funny, but it has already made me jump a few times because I catch it out of the corner of my eye and I think someone is standing by her!

Yesterday some family friends were nice enough to invite us to go out on their boat. It was pretty choppy, but we all had a really good time.

Texas! Finally...

We decided to drive to Texas to spend Hank's post-deployment leave with his family. It was looooong drive.
Here is Parker playing in Charly's Blow up gym thing before we left.

And trying to eat daddy's shoes while we were packing up to go.

We drove for about 8 hours the first day before we stopped for the night. Parker managed to get a hold of her wipes and pull every single one out of case. I can't wait until she discovers toilet paper...

We got to Houston at about 1030p Saturday night after driving about 14 hours. We spent the night with Hank's aunt and uncle and hung out with them most of Sunday. Here is Parker hanging out with Danielle at the community pool we went to. We put Parker in a float and she was as happy as she could be.

Here is Uncle David and Parker get some time in before we left Sunday evening for Corpus Christi.

And finally..... we're here!!!

Pigtails

Park's hair has gotten to a in-between stage. It's not short enough to just let it go curly, but it's not long enough (especially the back) to put in a pony tail, so today we tried little pigtails. She never tried even once to pull them out and I think they looked pretty cute.

Chik-Fil-A

We have been to Chik-Fil-A a "few" times since Hank came home. It has now become Parker's favorite place because there are always kids playing in the play place for her to watch. Plus, as you can tell, she loves to play with the little toys they have in there.

Parker refuses to sit forwards in the cart now. I can only imagine what is in store for me in the future...

Toys

One of the fun things about watching Parker lately is seeing her play with toys she never use to play with. She has a piano she use to just try to eat the ears of and now she has learned to actually pound on the keys. Today she figured out how to push the buttons on this book to get it to play music.

Fun at the Beach

Yesterday Parker, Daddy, and I went to Onslow beach on base. It was ok when the sun was out, but really really windy. The wind was too much for Parker so we didn't stay long. Parker enjoyed the sand while we were there though, she was driving Hank nuts trying to sneak handfuls into her mouth.

Parker and Leroy

As you can tell, they're buddies.

Truck

We have been to our storage unit probably about 5 times since we've gotten down here. We either think of something we need from it, or go to put more stuff in it. Hank and I are so ready to start unpacking it instead of packing it.
Parker likes it though because she gets to play in Daddy's truck.

This is for Travis and Ally, are you impressed?
