Dally trying on Daddy's cover

I got this shirt on clearance from Old Navy but wasn't sure she would actually wear it (she is super picky), but once I told her it was Grandpa's team she is now all about it. 

Chatty

Dally is funny, she likes nothing better than to play with Daddy and Park.

Although she can navigate the entire house by herself now she still likes to get into stuff and push things around... including my rice cooker which I kept putting away and she kept getting out. 

Oh, and by the way, did you hear we're having a BOY???!!!

Disney On Ice

Kind of last minute I found out that Disney on Ice was in town.  I had been wanting to take Park to one so we called up some friends and bought some tickets.

Daddy and Dally stayed home while we went with Jess and McKinley.

It was a Toy Story theme that was really cute.  I think both the girls enjoyed it, I know I did.

Disneyland with Dad

Hank's class graduated on Tuesday so that meant... Disneyland!  We usually go on Friday after he graduates but Thursday and Friday he is doing repelling and then spy rigging(dangling on a rope from a helicopter) as a special class the recon unit is letting them do.

Park was super excited to go, and so was I.  It had been a while and yesterday ended up being beautiful and warm.

I forgot her shoes... I'm not use to having to put them on her so I really have to work on remembering from now on.

Park is really into dressing herself.  Occasionally I have to veto a outfit but for the most part she is getting good at coordinating her colors (even if the outfits sometimes turn out VERY colorful).

The last hour was hard with Dally but it was worth it to see the parade.  Both of the girls faces light up when they see the characters, and even Dally bobs her head to the music and claps.

Walking

After lots and lots of practicing pushing things around, and then taking short walks it seems she really has it down...

Legoland

Now that Dally is feeling a little bit better we ventured out to Legoland today with Ellie (Parker's friend from school), her brother Knox, and her mom Megan.

Ellie and Parker are impossible to get a picture of together.

They were funny today though, they wanted to go on everything at least 5 times (especially this train that they could go on without us).

Dally and Knox had fun exploring the playground.

Sickos

Parker has had this nasty cough that she finally passed on to Dally... and Dally added a fever and runny nose.  Poor baby has been REALLY cranky so we have mostly just hung out at home.

Park has had her jeep out a lot lately since Gabriela got a Mini-cooper power wheels for Christmas.  Today she rode it up and down our road as fast as she could.

Nesbitt's Orange Soda

I found a couple of bottles of Nesbitt's California Orange sodas at World Market a while ago and have been meaning to take pictures of the girls with them, it just hasn't happened yet.  In the meantime feel free to enjoy some of these old ads.

Dally Ally

Dally and I were hanging out at the house this morning after taking Park to school.  I was checking my email and after a while I realized how quiet it was.  I found Dally in the other room taking things out of a drawer and putting them in a cup and actually being really well behaved.

Big Mickey Park

The weather has been beautiful here since we returned home last weekend.  Like in the 80's beautiful.  We have been going to the park almost every day.

It is Dally's favorite place to practice walking.  She comes down the slide, stands up, and walks as much as 6-8 steps before falling down.

I love her.
