Random lake

Cute Zoey- it was so much fun to get to spend time with her and get to know her!  She has grown so much and is speaking so well- including standing up to the resident bully, Dally.
I love that Grandma Betty loves to snuggle my kids.
Dally wasn't so sure about getting pulled around in the tube.  I don't think she's going to be as crazy on the water as Park is.

Lake Life

Jude is so good natured, we would take him shopping and he would just sit in the cart hanging out until we were done.  He was the same at the house- he would just hang out until he decided he wanted his momma.
Dally lovin on her Daddy.
She had a hard time when he left, she really missed him.
Park stayed in the water for like 8 hours every day.  Uncle Ry was in there for most of that as well.

Dally preferred the beach toys.   Actually all the little girls loved this slide.
Sometimes Henry was a good excuse to take a break.
Jude is such a good eater.  He takes a hour to pick though everything but in the end most of it ends up in his mouth.
Poor Jude got sick and just wanted to snuggle his momma.
On Sunday Henry got a blessing from my Dad.  Sadly I came down with whatever Jude had and could barely hold Henry.  We left right after this picture and I slept most of the day.
Crazy Bananas.
On the 5th Hank, Ryan, and my dad drove down to the city to see some sights and pick up Ian from the airport.  We were so happy to have him there, especially Park who was his permanent companion for most of the vacation.
Hank and Ry always wrestle a lot when their together.  I imagine wrestling on the shale didn't feel that great but Ian decided to join right in.

I loved that Ry got to stay and spend some extra time with us.  Plus it was nice that he and Hank got to fly home together, I hope you come back next year ry!

Doug's and the Pier

Kim and David only had a couple of days at the lake so we tried to squeeze in as much as possible including a trip to one of my favorite restaurants- Doug's Fish Fry, and then a short walk out to the Skaneateles pier.

As it turns out most of the extended family wanted to go as well so we got to enjoy our meal as a large group, so fun!

Jude just hanging out with Grandpa and Momma.
Dally playing in the dirt.

Grandma Betty got some snuggles in.
Kim and David got a chance to go sailing with my dad.

Then Ry got a chance to go.

The Lake!

On Monday the Barrons and G&G Nesbitt left for the airport while we jumped on the Mass Turnpike and... almost immediately ran into stand still traffic!  Ugh, a couple of hours later it cleared up and we were on our way.  Dad met us in Syracuse and brought home Dinosaur BBQ for dinner which kinda made up for the crappy drive.
Tuesday morning it was business as usual at the lake.
Cami and Jude had gotten there just a few days before us.
It was a absolutely gorgeous day- blue skies, hot weather, and a smooth lake.  We were able to tube, ride the wave runner, play volleyball, and ski to our hearts content.
Henry got some good naps in down by the lake.

It didn't take Dally long to figure out where the freezer pops were and that she could get one almost every time she followed an adult into the shed.
The boys spent lots of time out wrestling on the water trampoline.  I have no idea who came out on top- they all seemed to get thrown in their fair share of times.
Tuesday night everyone but me, Jude, and Henry jumped on the boats and headed down to the end of the lake for fireworks.  Pictures to come soon.

The Grays, Pawtucket, and cousin Bill

On Sunday Grandpa had made plans to meet up with some of his cousins so we decided to go along to see some of the places Grandpa grew up.  It turned out that we only a few minutes away from Ally's parents and were lucky enough to see them on short notice!
Grandpa's cousin Ruth was suppose to be there but ended up in the hospital earlier that day.  We still enjoyed meeting some other Nesbitts- Bill and his wife Agatha.
One of the places we saw was the credit union where Grandpa's Dad worked as the vp, plus a couple of the houses he grew up in, and the church where he went to school.
