The Zoo

It was hot but you really can't come to San Diego without seeing the zoo and it didn't disappoint.
Nice photobomb Hank.

If nothing else, Dad learned from the library that a picture of someone waving is better than a picture of someone not waving.

She was obsessed.  She asked every five minutes until we finally bought her some.

I didn't have the heart to tell Dally how inappropriate this picture was.

Dally's Birthday and Ronald Reagan Library

Dally had a great 4th birthday.  Her day started off with Surfin Donuts before Parker left for school, then she took a book and apples to share with her class, then dance, then finally... cake and a giant pile of presents.  She received mostly legos (which she loves) and has been lording it over Parker that she has more.

On Wednesday we took Grammy and Grandpa to the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley (a couple of hours away).

It was really cool.  It has interactive displays along with Air force one, helicopters, cars, and all sorts of things.

Reagan loved Jelly Beans... so someone did his portrait in jelly beans.

Riding a horse with Reagan at his ranch.

And a totally random displayed bat mobile.  (it is part of a exhibit starting next week that the library is helping with while its normal museum is renovated).

The replicate white house lawn with an amazing view.
