Strike a pose baby!

Good morning Parker!

it's bath time (never once a peep of complaint!)...

Time to get ready for the doctor's office...

"No, no," she says, "Anything but the doctors office!"

After her appointment and a trip to the grocery store she was very tuckered out. Good thing Grandma was here to hold her.

She even discovered her thumb today.

... and we tried out her swing. She loves it!

2 week weight check

We went to the doctors office this morning for Parker's weight check. She was 6 lbs 6 oz at birth, she was 6 lbs when we left the hospital, she was 6 lbs 3 oz at our 4 day check, and she is now........... 7 lbs and 5 oz!!! The nurse said that that is way above the minimum that they want her to gain and that she seems to be doing really well!! We got to talk to the nurse for a few minutes and she told me if she didn't know better she would guess that this was my 2nd or 3rd baby. I thought that was a pretty cool compliment.
I promise the nurse wasn't torturing her.... it was time for lunch and Parker was making sure we knew that.

We haven't done a whole lot today. Lots of napping and sewing.

15 Days

Parker got her first bath today. She really enjoyed it, she layed there looking about as content as she could be. Her mommy and daddy always knew she was going to be a water baby.
Before

During

She wouldn't keep her legs in, she wanted them draped over the sides, and she really enjoyed the head massage.

After

Parker loves her Momma...
And Momma loves her Parker...
All this sleeping seems to be doing her some good. Today we really noticed how well she is holding her head up, she is definitely getting stronger. She also likes to squirm and is getting good at wiggling off pillows and moving herself down in her bed.

Catching up

I am so far behind on blogging, I am going to try to catch up. Mom is doing way better than I am.

Parker loves to take naps. Sometimes it's hard to not nap with her. For instance here is a picture of Uncle Ryan on Saturday, he couldn't resist the temptation.

She really loves to snuggle too, especially first thing in the morning.

Mommy really loves to snuggle with her.

When she eventually wakes up she makes all sorts of funny faces.

Here she is relaxing on the blanket her Great-Grandma Gaenzle made for her.

Her Grandma Kim and Uncle Ryan left on Sunday. We really enjoyed their visit and were sad to see them go.

Ok Ok I'll Post!

Here are some cute pictures of the yittle baby.

Grandma Clay washed her hair and swears that it goes curly...

This is the most well traveled baby you will ever meet. On Wednesday we took a trip to one of North Carolina's aquariums. Parker really liked the sharks, she knew a whole lot about them from listening to "Shark week" in mommy's belly.
We got to see some more American Alligators.
Unfortunately Ryan and Grandma Clay got a little too close...

They actually had a really cool part in the middle where you could touch some of the animals and fish.

These crazy things kept trying to jump out of the tank.

And here is one of Parker's sharks.

After the aquarium my mom and Ryan went to the beach to play in the sand and water for a few hours.
Friday has been spent on base, playing games, hanging by the pool, and playing mini-golf.
And here are some more cute pics of the Park.
