Weekend

It's sad to have such a quiet house this weekend after having so much fun with my family here.  Thankfully the weather is warm again so we spent this morning at Sea Life checking out the new crab exhibit, and then hanging you for a little bit at Legoland.

This little girl is starting to get into coloring.  She found a marker a few days ago and decorated the door.

It's hard to see, but that is a coyote out in the grass.  He was actually right next to the fence in our back yard for a while but I didn't get a picture in time.  It was neat, but a little scary that he would come so close.  Apparently they got another little dog down the street a few days ago.

Disneyland

On Monday we went to Disneyland with my family.  A winter storm came in the night before and brought rain, but we still had fun.

We had fun riding some rides they missed last year- like the Nemo Submarine.

And the Columbia.

And splash mountain, which was closed last year (Park chickened out this time).

Park and James got to ride Space mountain for the first time- and loved it so much they rode it again.

And I think the favorite was Star Tours.  It hadn't opened yet when everyone came last year so it was a first for everyone but me, but everyone loved it.

Randomness

Here is some randomness from the past week...

Daddy and Dally (she keeps those shades on for hours...)

It didn't take her long to figure out how to open those wrappers and eat the candy.

I started a shutterfly book of Parker's school work and some of my favorite artwork.  Since I have it scanned in here is one of her latest.

Nesting

All I've wanted to do for the last couple of weeks is organize....everything.  Which means my house looks pretty good, but it doesn't make for very exciting post, sorry.

This is what she does to my table every single day.  It drives me a little bit crazy.

Goofs

Yesterday we got a Valentines Day package that the girls really enjoyed opening.

They are both nuts for the whistles that came in it.

And the dogs too of course.

And Parker has been asking every day, usually multiple times a day, if the pool is open yet.  She always complains that it "IS NEVER" going to be open, so I finally relented and got out the sprinkler for her to run through.  It seemed to pacify her, at least that day.
