Family Reunion

Although we really enjoyed Boston and getting to hang out with the Barrons, Grandma and Grandpa Nesbitt, and Mike and his family we were really there for a family reunion of Grandpa Nesbitt's Mom's family.  It worked out perfectly- Deb, the host, only lived about 45 minutes from Mike.
The girls enjoyed getting to run around, wrestle, and chase the dogs while we were visiting.
Grandma and Grandpa's friends that they met on a cruise ship.
Parker was dying to get into the pool.  She stayed in as long as she could.  Hank and Dally enjoyed it too.
It was a beautiful day, perfect for relaxing, eating, and visiting.
David and Bayleigh playing with Lola.
Crazy face poolaholic.
Grandpa celebrated his 80th birthday in June so Grandma surprised him with a birthday cake.  Happy birthday Grandpa, we love you!
We really enjoyed getting to meet some of Grandpa's extended family, and getting to hang out with our own.

Mike's House

While in the North East we were lucky enough to stay at Grandma Nesbitt's brother-in-law's house. Mike, his son Kevin, and his daughter Terry were wonderful host who made us all feel welcome and comfortable (even though there were a whole lot of us invading their home), and it was so nice for us to be able to easily spend time together instead of being stuck in separate hotel rooms.
Grandpa Nesbitt and Henry getting some quality time in together.
Park ran around most of the with Dani, but occasionally you could get her to sit still.

Boston

On Friday Terry was nice enough to take us all to Boston and show us some sites.  Our first stop was the USS constitution.
We waited and took a guided tour of the boat.  It was neat because the ship is still Naval property and everyone who worked there including the tour guides were active duty Navy.

After our tour and a quick stop at the museum we took a ride on a water taxi.

We saw a bunch of ships in the harbor that were coming in for Boston's Fourth of July celebration.

By then everyone was hungry so we stopped at a big indoor market to eat and shop.

Then walked around town to see some sites including Paul Revere's house, his statue, North Church, and Bunker Hill.

Airport

On Thursday we said goodbye to Miles and headed to the San Antonio airport with Grammy, Grandpa, and Uncle Ry and headed to Rhode Island!

Corpus Christi

On Sunday we packed everything back in the car and headed to Corpus Christi.  We got a few things done that we needed to (like registering the van there so we don't get killed by California taxes), but mostly just enjoyed hanging out with the family.
Park loves her Uncle Ry, but Dally took a little convincing.
Grammy had no problem with her though.
Hank and Ry wrestled as usual.
We got to see Chloe and Bobby all three nights.  Park had a great time playing with her.
