We had a fun day today. No matter what we do though, everyone needs a little time with Parker before we can leave the apartment.

After everyone got some snuggle time we drove down to Wilmington and explored the Battleship North Carolina.

We were up on the deck of the battleship when Mom spotted a Alligator in the water. We knew there were alligators around from a sign we saw on base yesterday, and maybe I'm just a wimpy Northerner who isn't use to large reptiles in the water, but it was still a little shocking to actually see one.

After the first alligator sighting we were really surprised to see another one. Try not to be jealous Cami.

After the battleship we crossed the water because we decided to eat dinner in historical downtown Wilmington. I had never been to this part of Wilmington before, it was really cute. I'd like to go again with Hank when we have some time.

After having dinner on the water we wandered around the shops for a while. The last shop we stopped at was this fudge and ice cream shop that made you hungry the minute you walked in because it smelled so yummy. Grandpa Clay got a time out for trying to give Parker ice cream!
