Ghostbusters

Mommy doesn't know the lyrics, obviously, but it's still funny...

Legoland

Legoland is maybe 30 minutes from our new house, and annual passes are very affordable with a military discount so we decided to check it out.

I wasn't sure how Park would do because she has hated rides in the past, but she loved it.
Dad and Indiana Jones.

We were there for almost 4 hours but still missed a lot of stuff. We are def going back.

Hank made friends.

We can't wait for Ian and James to come visit and go with us, you guys are going to love it!

I love Cali weather

Parker suckered her Dad into buying her her own Iron Man the other night. It is actually quite impressive, she can name quite a few marvel characters.

Parker:1 Miles:0

Acting like they hadn't been cuddling for the last 20 minutes.

Right in back of our fence.

The back of our house (I'll eventually get around to the front and the inside).

Parker and Daddy swinging and eating pepperoni.

Crazy.

This is one of the things Parker has been saying lately that is funny, "What's the big idea!" She actually uses it in the right text, and is very dramatic when she wants to be.

Parker runs into the kitchen to find me and says quite excitedly:

Parker: Momma, there's someone at the door!

Me: Is it Daddy?

Parker: No, it's Wolverine!

Cali

When we finally made it to Cali Hank's best friends from college, Ally and Travis, took us in for a few days. Jacob is a year older than Park, but they got along pretty well. Chloe is so cute and good natured, and Park eventually stopped throwing fits when we held her.

Since we have been in our new house I'd have to say Park has spent 75% of her time out in the backyard, blowing bubbles and harrassing miles.

This is the day the moving truck came. She had spilled bubbles on herself twice already so we eventually gave up and just put her swim suit on her. She thought her car needed to be washed.

Miles seems to like the backyard. These are the windows in our family room.

NC stuff

Parker got into all sorts of stuff as we were packing. I think I bought this costume at Old Navy for like $2 a couple of halloween's ago.

It's kind of scary looking, but Park thought it was funny.

She put our whole change cup into her doggy.

Getting Daddy with his marine sword.

I Love Daddy

Hank needed a picture for his bio. Park wanted in on one.

On our way

We made it! We got into Cali on Monday night after four long days of driving. Friday we drove through a snow storm in South Carolina, Georgia, and half of Alabama (what the heck!). And with our motel finally in site couldn't get across the bridge because of ice. Saturday went smoothly, with most of the snow melting. We made it to Humble fairly early and spent some time with the Barrons. Sunday we stopped in San Antonio and had lunch with Hank's parents and brother and continued to get blown around the road all the way to El Paso. Although we got into El Paso late that night we were able to go see Hank's Mom's parents, Sharon and Roger, and then go spend the night with his other grandparents, Hank and Norrice. The next morning we stopped to see his Aunt Linda before we left town, and then we were on our way. Our next stop was in Tucson where we met up with Dave and Kristine and got to have lunch with them. Then on to Cali!

The night we got here Hank and I discovered we had gotten the same bug that Parker had had on Thursday. Luckily only a 24 hour bug, but it made checking in difficult for Hank. As it turns out, our best housing option at this point is in Oneill Heights. We are going to be living in a very nice 3 bedroom, one level house. I really like the house, it has a beautiful view out the back, a huge laundry room, all new appliances, and is on a cul-de-sac. The only downside is that it will take at least 20 minutes to get off base, and more then that for Hank to get to work. In 6 months the development is actually going to be redesignated from officer housing to SNCO housing, but we will have the option to stay if we want, or move to another development. We will see, but for now I think we will want to stay. Our moving van is scheduled to come tomorrow, and then I guess we will officially be residents of cali.

Sorry for the lack of pictures, but I am not sure where my camera is at this point. As soon as I locate it I will take lots of pictures.

3/2 Family Fun Day

On Saturday we went to the Family Fun Day for 3/2.

Park had a good time playing the games.

It was nice to have daddy there for once.

Park found stickers, of course.

Park and Daddy ended the day with a dance.

Cuteness

I have really enjoyed being home this week, except for the whole packing part. Park and I have done a lot of work here at the house, but we have also had time to go to the gym, go swimming, and to hang out with all our friends.
Park really loves her hat and scarf that Aunt Cami made her, even if we are moving to Cali.

The girls enjoyed decorating cookies Friday night.

I am so glad we got pet housing, how could we give him up?

I finally threw all the stickers out, I couldn't take it anymore.

We have seen a lot of Kes, we have been trying to get in as much time as possible before we leave.
