This is what we really looked like at the beach. It was cool though, we saw a couple of groups of dolphins swimming near the shore.

It was really nice sitting by the pool.

Every night before sundown we took Carrie's jeep and drove on the beach, looking for wild horses. We finally found some the last night...

Duck, NC

After my first visit to lovely Jacksonville, NC I met the girls( Nikki, Carrie, and Laura) at Carrie's beach house. We have had great weather!

You'd have thought we were going on a 7 day hike instead of spending a hour at the beach.

We took our sweatshirts off for the picture, it was too windy at the beach. We went back and layed out in the backyard and got burned!(more pictures to come)

Dan's Graduation

I told Hank today that I was getting really good at this whole military ceremony thing. I went to Dan's TBS graduation which was kinda cool cause it was at the FBI academy(annoying to go through two gates to get there though).

Prego

I am so so so happy to have finally made it to 12 weeks and to be feeling better. Hank and I decided to start taking pictures every weekend to document exactly when I start getting a belly and then to document its progression. These are the 12 week pictures.

Everything has been normal so far. And YES, we will def find out the sex of the baby asap.

So far really no changes, although I feel like I am starting to get a tummy pouch. I am trying to convince myself its the lemon growing inside me and not all the pizza i've been eating.

And this is a uglydoll. Its awesome. Don't be jealous.

Christmas

No one has posted pictures from Christmas yet so I thought I'd post a few for Grandmapa!

Texas!

I just got back on Tuesday night from visiting Hank. I didn't take very many pictures while I was there. His friend's wife has a bunch of pictures from the first two days that I'm hoping Hank will send me. Anyways though, I had a really good time meeting everyone!
Hank graduated from TBS on Thursday(in Quantico). It was interesting because they made the graduates wait outside. They didn't get to hear any of their own graduation....

This is Hank and me with two of his dogs. Baby is laying on me, and Jack is standing at attention for the picture. The funniest part of this picture is that this is take number 7 or so. Hank's little brother Ryan was taking the picture and everytime it came out blurry, or too dark, or he had almost missed us completely.

Hank decided if I was going to make him ride a snowmobile(that is if we get any snow) that he was going to make me go horseback riding while I was there.

The horses needed their feet trimmed or something like that so Hank and Ryan helped their dad and a friend out for a couple of minutes instead.

Saturday night my assistant manager hosted a Christmas party for our floor... a very ambitious deed considering there are always people working and its hard to get nurses together. Quite a few people came though. Carrie and Denae. The Crew (my preceptor, MJ, is standing next to me in red, my assistant manager Caroline is in the black tank top.)
