Cute Kiddos

It has been a interesting experience having Parker and Ian together. Ian really loves Parker. He is constantly telling us, "Shhhhhh! Parker's seeping!" I can't wait for when Amy has her baby and we have three around. Today we ventured out to Ikea to get a few things that Amy has been waiting 6 weeks to be able to go get. Lets just say we were there for 3 hours and got nothing that was on her list.

All of Ian's old baby cloths have been washed and are ready for baby Bean(he's still nameless). This blue looks pretty good on Parker, we might have to find her one this color.

Parker and Ian doing their favorite thing.... hanging out nake-dee.

Parker really loves her Uncle Curt. He picks her up as soon as he gets home and she is so good for him. They really need to have a girl next. Uncle Curt watched both Parker and Ian for about 45 minutes today, he is practicing for when Bean is here.

Ian likes to play with all of Parker's stuff, whether it's the bouncy chair, the boppy, or in this case, the car seat.

If you're wondering why we seem to be getting a lot of pictures of them laying side by side, it's because we lay Parker down to change her diaper, then Ian decides he needs to lay down too. He wanted to be wrapped up like a burrito once too, but he didn't like that he couldn't move when Amy tickled him and hasn't asked for it again.

We found this cute white hat in Amy's baby stuff the other day and I have been trying to get Parker to wear it.
She is fine, of course, while she is sleeping, but as soon as she wakes up and can't put her hand in her hair she is NOT happy.

Park meets the Peeian

Park has officially traveled more than any other baby I know. Yesterday we flew from Syracuse to Detroit to... Seattle! We love visiting with Amy, Ian, and Curt. Today Amy and I went through Ian's old baby stuff.

Ian was really helpful....

This was the best part...Ian putting the pump over his face.

Check out Ian's undies. Shrek!

Parka Park Park

Grandma's home! She has gotten lots of pictures of the Park smiling already. I really have a whole new appreciation for my mom. She is so incredibley helpful with just getting the day to day stuff done for the Park, plus she is always there with a camera to help me get good pictures! (not to say my dad and Dave weren't also helpful, they just can't compete with grandma!)

Family Bath Time

Nicki and the boys came over for dinner and a movie last night. Grandpa was holding Park while we set the table. Apparently she was pretty hungry because she licked Grandpa's shirt until dinner was ready.

Aunt Nicki and the boys wanted to see the Park in action so we decided to bathe her. Everyone helped.

Then the boys sang to her while we got her out and dressed her. Amazingly, she didn't scream. She just sat and listened to them.

Soo tired

Park has been spending some time with Aunt Anne, her granddaughter Robin, and Grandma Betty, while I go through orientation at the hospital this week. She and I are use to just getting to hang out together all day, all this work stuff has got us reeeeeeeal tired.
This is how we fell asleep the other night.
Check out my outfit. I didn't even realize it but I have been wearing Dave's sweatpants and one of Hank's t-shirt. Oops...
Park helped Uncle Dave play video games for a long time the other day. Of course, as soon as I wanted to take a picture she got upset.

The Cowboys

My Dad and Parker have been watching football together today, and even though they were watching the Colts vs. the Pats Parker insisted on wearing her Cowboys jersey.

Not only is Daddy's favorite team the Cowboys, but they are Grandpa's favorite team as well!

Thanks for the onesie jersey Carrie, it is perfect!

Funny

Parker makes some seriously funny faces. She also smiles a lot but for some reason I haven't been able to catch any on film lately. I guess I'm going to have to start trying harder.
Uncle David was pretty tired after reserves yesterday, he needed some Park time.

2 Month visit

My chunka-chunk went for her 2 month visit on Thursday. She is 12 lbs 2 oz(wow!), and 20.5 inches long. The doctor said she is doing very well. I went through her boxes of clothes today and got out all the 3-6 month clothing. Everything that I use to think looked so big now fits! Also I think she probably has enough clothes to dress 3 babies so I don't think she'll need any more for Christmas.
And for comparison... here is Parker during her very first bath not all that long ago....

She is really trying to talk. She coo's and coo's and coo's. Yesterday I went to do my health clearance at the hospital and took her with me. The ladies who worked in the office were playing with her while I was doing my respiratory mask test. When I came out they all had big grins on their faces, and told me that she had told all our family secrets. She talked to them the entire time!

This is a blanket that Aunt Anne made for Parker. I think it is so neat and beautiful I had to take a picture and share. Thankn you Aunt Anne!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Anniversary to my parents, and Happy Halloween to everyone else! Today has been a really fun day. It started with a call from Aunt Nicki who had me come into the spa for a massage... it was awwwwwwesome, and such a nice surprise. The Park stayed home with Grandpa which I was a little worried about, but I came home and to my surprise Grandpa had just finished changing a diaper!

This evening we got to go trick or treating with Devon(the pirate), Connor(the ninja), Nicki, and Tom.

I got Park's big girl stroller out but Aunt Nicki refused to use it. She barely let go of the Park.

Tom helped carry Parker part of the time. He really knew how to use the Park to get more candy, it was really funny.

The boys were so funny, we had to keep reminding them of trick-or-treating etiquette, like not looking in everyones windows.

Here is a pumpkin I saw at someones house. Pretty cool.

Grandpa sat outside of Nicki's and handed out candy. I think the reason the candy actually got handed out was because there was nothing in the bowl that Grandpa liked to eat.

After little more then a hour of trick-or-treating the boys decided they were done so we went to visit Uncle Dan and Aunt Diane.

And then continued over to Rob and Tracey's to see their kids.
Ashton, Connor, Devon, Parker, Aidan, and Torin.

Parker and Torin had the same costumes. Torin is so sweet, he was sleepy and kept leaning over towards Parker.
