Santa Bear

Within the last month Parker has started grabbing everything in sight. Of course, after she gets a hold of something, it goes straight to her mouth.

My baby is sick...

A couple of days ago I had to take Park to the doctors office for her first sick visit. Although I didn't get her tested, the doctor was almost positive that Parker has RSV. Fuuuun. So since then I have been giving her a decongestant, eye ointment, and a neb treatment every 4-6 hours. Grandma already had a nebulizer at home because Hank use to have to use it. Go figure that the next person to use it would be his daughter. She is tolerating them well though, and is starting to sound better.

Sunday Dinner

Tonight was our last Sunday night dinner with the Leonards. Sad. We have enjoyed having the chance to get to know Curt's family, and will miss them when we leave. You can tell that they are use to having grandchildren around, because they are always well prepared when we go over there. Tonight Peggy Ann got a jumping chair out for Parker. She is still too little for it( I couldn't get her to keep both arms out), but she enjoyed trying to eat it.

Here is the Chunk and Andrew.

And Parker showing Aunt Amy who's boss.

P and I

The other day Amy found these ugly Santa shoes I had given Ian when he was little. We, of course, had to put them on Park. On another note, she almost wiggled herself out of the bouncer today. I can't believe how big she is, I am going to have to be more careful, maybe actually start strapping her in...

While we were folding laundry I took Parker out of the dress she had been wearing because it was dirty. I never would have thought to put these two together, but they just happen to be next to each other in the pile. Amy tried to stop me, but I couldn't resist....

Boring

Nothing too exciting going on this week. Amy and I have both gotten haircuts. We took a trip to Joann Fabrics and ended up with two blankets worth of fabric, but nothing that we went there for. Mostly we've just been waiting for Baby Bean to make a appearance.

Meet Andrew

Curt's parents have had a super nice, pregnant, chinese woman living with the the last couple of months. Yin gave birth to a little boy a couple of days ago. Yesterday, when we went over for Sunday dinner, we got the chance to meet him. Here is Andrew. He is so little. I know that Parker use to be that small, but it's hard to remember, even now. She looks like a giant baby compared to him!

Parker laughs!

Excuse my fake laugh, but it made her laugh!

Christmas Tree continued

I think the best part about the tree is how much Ian loves it.

Here is the finished product. Notice the care bear is still in the tree, even though Amy strongly protested it's right to be there.

Christmas Tree

First of all, Yay for Christmas and Christmas Trees! We went and picked out a Christmas tree today for the Leonard's house. It is the first time I have ever gone out and actually gotten a tree. They smell so good, I think I want a real tree from now on.

Here are the Leonards and their tree. Notice how Amy's still pregnant. That baby needs to come out soon!!!

It was really muddy, and of course Ian wiped out.

This was my favorite find of the day. Amy and Curt were in Rite Aid picking up a prescription and when they came back to the car they had this. Uncle Curt found Parker a holiday Care Bear! I am a little obsessed with Care Bears for my daughter, I'm not sure why, but I am definitely going to go get the santa and the elf bears!
