Sick? This baby?

It is really cold here, and Park and I have been in the house pretty much non-stop since we went to the doctors on Friday. So today we had to go back to the doctors for a follow-up, and afterwards we stopped by the mall to do some quick shopping with my mom(it didn't turn out to be quick but was still fun). Well, for everyone else who has babies, this week is baby week at old navy and pretty much all the baby clothes are on sale(yippee!). We found Park a cute bathing suit for this summer, and figured if we wished hard enough for nice weather maybe we'd get it. Just in case we do we thought we'd try out Park's new suit.

And these are just some other cute pictures.

Happy Birthday Grandma and Devon!!

Yesterday, Saturday, was Grandma's birthday. Today is Devon's 9th birthday, so we celebrated them both with cake and ice cream last night.

Aunt Nicki snuck Parker some chocolate frosting. She really enjoyed what little actually made it into her mouth...

Earlier she tried a sip of Uncle David's water...
she didn't enjoy that so much.

She also got her first taste of peas today.
She didn't especially like them.

Godparents

Ok, let's talk about how much Parker loves the toys that Ally and Travis sent her for Christmas. I particularly hate this dog that Parker loves. It sings and talks to her, and if I have to hear "You're my friend" one more time I think I'm going to throw it out the window. I know it's the responsibility of friends and family that don't have to hear the annoying toys to give them. As far as this one goes, you guys definitely did your job, and she absolutely loves it.

Here we go again...

G-momma accompanied Parker and me to the doctor today. Parker has had a cough for a few days, then started wheezing and spiked a fever so I made sure to get her in before the weekend. Well, we ended having to do a treatment then go get a chest x-ray. The good news is that Parker doesn't have pneumonia, but the bad news is she has RSV again or bronchiolitis. So Parker and I will be having a quiet weekend at home, resting up.

This is for Daddy. See what kind of fun stuff you are missing? Parker is a smart girl, she figured out how to get TWO baths in one day. Just get yourself so dirty mommy has no other option but to put you back in the tub.

Superbowl Sunday

Sunday was just as busy as the rest of the weekend. We went to church, then to Aidan's 8th birthday party, then back home to watch the superbowl.

Here is the birthday girl opening up her presents.

Dang Busy Weekend

This weekend has been really busy. It started on Friday when I walked out to get in the car for work and the driveway was a sheet of ice. I ended up not going to work and the boys and Dave didn't have school. So we all got to hang out all day.

Then Friday night we ended up losing power and had to eat dinner and play Uno by candlelight. It gave Parker a chance to try and eat her cool red ghost night light.

Saturday morning Parker, G-momma, and I went to the craft fair in Syracuse. It was fun to look but I didn't end up buying anything. Afterwards we went to Babies R Us because we couldn't get Park's car seat out of the base. The manager there who also tried to undo it was completely perplexed by how it had broken. So perplexed that he gave us store credit for it when he really shouldn't have. So now park has a new ride.
This is the old one.
And this is the sweet new one.

Saturday night I went with my dad to the Keith Urban/Carrie Underwood concert. It was really really fun. More pictures from Sunday will be coming later.

Funny Sleeping Habits

Parker has some funny sleeping habits. She and I got up at 5:30 the other day, as usual. By 6:20 or so I layed her on the bed so that I could finish getting ready for work. As I was getting ready I realized Parker had all the sudden gotten pretty quiet. She had taken the blanket that was above her head and pulled it over her face to block out the light, then had fallen back asleep. What a nut.

This is often how I find her. Either she pulls the blanket over her face, or is forehead to forehead with the care bear.

She got Grandma good with some wet kisses.

Here she is with two of her favorite things. Her feet and her tongue ( which is constantly sticking out these days).

And this is just funny. I looked outside this morning and there was a big group of large turkeys wandering around the yard.

Grandma is so nice!

So today Parker and I got home from shopping to find a box came in the mail for her. G and G Bush(and I'm sure Ryan had a hand in picking stuff out) sent the cutest pair of boots for Parker! Here she is modeling them with her PJs. They are made by John Deere, by the way, pretty cool huh Ian?

The box also contained some toys that she already loves. This one is a little dangerous because she swings it around like a mad woman. I have already learned to stay out of range while she has it.

My life saver gummies were also in the box, yippee! Thanks for everything G and G Bush!! By the way Grandma, Parker goes to sleep every night with her white care bear. It is soft and fuzzy so she strokes it, or if she is mad she pulls it over her face and holds it tight. It is really cute.

Parker spent some time over at Aunt Nicki's house today, and I think the cat was just too much for her. I ended up having to give her a treatment tonight which she, of course, tried to eat....

Feet

Parker seriously loves her feet. She can be crying and mad, and as soon as you take her feet out she is happy.

Momma was tired and needed a nap. Parker was happy to lay with me for the most part, but after a little while she wiggled herself sideways, and there she lay, happy as could be.
