Last night in CC

Our last night in CC everyone went out to eat and to say goodbye. The best part was that everyone was all together (that NEVER happens) so we got to get pictures! Yay!
The proud Grandparents and they kiddos, Chloe and Parker.

Dad, Mom, Parker, Ash, Hank, Bobby, Marlena, Chloe, Chance, and Ryan.

The boys and their little girls.

Weirdo.

Corpus Christi Hooks

While we were in Corpus we went to go see a CC Hooks Baseball game. Here's Parker playing with her visor on the way there.

Parker spent most of the time standing on a chair amusing the people behind us.

She had some sweet hair that night.

Ryan and Dad

One of the things they did to get the crowd going was throw t-shirts into the stands. Hank held Parker up so the girl throwing t-shirts couldn't resist giving her one. Here she is modeling it.

The rest of the time she spent trying to drink and/or eat the straws out of everyones cups.

Happy Birthday Me!!!

So we finally made it to North Carolina and moved into our new house last Saturday! We didn't have internet until today so let me do some catching up first.
We celebrated my birthday in Corpus with some seriously awesome Indiana Jones cupcakes.

Parker got one all to herself...

and really really enjoyed it.

Then she helped me unwrap presents.

And helped me try my favorite one out. I have been wanting a bike and a trailer for a long time. There are tons of trails around base to ride on, so Parker and I can pretty much go anywhere on them. We have been looking for a while at which one to get and my sweet husband got me this one, which I love love love.

First Hair Cut

So Parker has been sporting this really awesome rat tail pretty much since the day she was born. At this point it has grown out pretty long and looks ridiculous because she doesn't have nearly as much hair on the rest of the back of her head. So today Parker got her first hair cut.

I think it looks much better now.

The Officers Club

Sunday morning Grandpa and Grandma Nesbitt took us to the Officers Club for brunch. It was really yummy, with a huge desert table which I loved. Parker loved all the attention she got. I don't think there was a person who walked by who didn't say hello to her.

She was so tuckered out afterwards that she fell asleep like this...

The Gaenzles and Wickers

On Saturday we went over and spent the day with Hank's aunt and uncle's family (the Wickers) and Mimi and Papa( his grandparents). Linda took a lot more pictures than I did so I stole most of these from her Myspace page....
Mimi and Papa
We went and had a nice lunch with everyone at Olive Garden. Parker especially enjoyed the chocolate mint at the end.
Back at the Wicker's house we had birthday cake and presents. Thank you again for it all!!
Parker and Uncle Mike hanging out.
Daddy trying to feed Parker who was much too distracted by all the fun people around to actually eat.
Trying some of Daddy's sweet tea.

Spending some time with Lacy and Kassy.

Taking everything out of her diaper bag... again.
Sitting with Kassy and her boyfriend Billy.

Turtles in El Paso

While we were at the Nesbitt's this weekend Grandpa said something that sounded pretty strange to me. Fairly early in the morning he announced he was going to go feed the turtles. I wasn't aware that they had any pets, I had surely never seen one in the house. Well, apparently they have turtles in their back yard( 11 or 12 of them) that they have been feeding for years and years. The turtles are hysterical, they come running(imagine a turtle version) to the back patio when grandpa starts banging a spoon against the side of a dog food can, and then hungrily gobbles up what they can before anyone else can get it. If they can't stuff it in fast enough then they lay over it so that no one else can get it.

Texas National Aquarium - Corpus Christi

Ok, ok, I know it's been a few days since I blogged, but geez, you people are going to have to get use to the blog slowing down, Daddy's home! We are currently in El Paso visiting some more of Hank's family, and having a great time. I'll post pictures of the trip later, but for now here are some pictures I took a couple of days ago in CC.
Here's Parker, Daddy, and Jack.

Grammy and Park

We always find Parker in the weirdest sleeping positions.

On Wednesday we took Parker to the aquarium. We were there when we visited in October, but Parker enjoyed this visit more.

Checking out the Crocodile.

Trying to eat the tank the turtles were in.

Looking for the otters.

Watching the Dolphing show, which she didn't really care about until the dolphins splashed us.

She decided she wanted to push her car around and crawl after it.

Alligators!

After the aquarium we met Grammy at a restaurant for lunch and Parker had her three favorite things: bread, pickles, and a lime. Strange child.
