Sea World

Parker being in school all day every day has really put a damper on our park hopping habit.  Last week they had half days for parent teacher conference so we decided to take the kids to Sea World after school got out.

They were so funny reading their maps together.
Dally kept thinking the Seals and Sea Lions barking were the neighbors dog.  She would look around for him and ask, "Danny?".

Always their favorite show.

In the last couple of weeks Henry discovered his feet and his tongue.

Parker loooooves the dresses Dani and Aunt Becky send her.

We have been having so much fun using the disguise kit that the Leonards sent us, even sharing it with friends.

Box Tops

The PTA does A LOT at Park's school.  Last week everyone who had donated Box Tops (and other items) got to throw water balloons at the principal and office staff.  I wasn't there but someone posted a bunch of pictures to the facebook page.  Here is one with Parker at the bottom right, she says she got five water balloons to throw(we turned in 60+ box tops) .  If the balloons didn't pop the staff got to throw them back at the kids, ha.

Soccer

So last Saturday we bribed Parker to get her to play in her soccer game.   She ran the field following the ball but the only time she made contact was when the coach told her to kick it to get the game started.  Yesterday at practice she actually played played, like dribbled down the field, passed it, and was aggressive.  I am so happy we stuck with it and she is enjoying it finally!
Dally finds all sorts of ways to amuse herself during soccer.

Dally figured out how to get out of her crib.  We have tried a few times to put her in Parker's bottom bunk but she wakes up all night long.  The neighbor gave us an extra crib this week so I set it up in Park's room for Dally.  I'm hoping it will help her transition, I guess we'll see.

Park decided this weekend that she was going to exercise.  She had Dad doing jumping jacks, push-ups, and helping her lift weights.  Here they are showing off their muscles afterwards. (Btw, I was really proud, she told me she was doing things she had seen me do- I am so glad I have them try to exercise with me and we talk about how important it is!)

Bus Stop

Today is picture day at school so I thought I'd get some pictures of Park while she was dressed up.
Miles loves to walk to the bus stop, especially because usually a few kids stop to pet him.
Sometimes Dally is dressed when we go, sometimes she's not.
Wow, I look tired.
Henry is such a happy boy.
This is Daniel, he is a rockstar on our soccer team, and also our next door neighbor.
This is Jackie, she is in Parker's class and lives down the street (with Gabriela and Parker).

My pretty girl is starting to really like school.  I volunteered in her classroom for the first time this week and loved it.  It was so fun to get to see her in action, and get to see what she does and who she's friends with.
This is just a random picture of Dally playing in a box.
