It was hot yesterday, like 90 degrees and humid. We wanted to take the kids to walk the monuments but didn't want to be miserable in the heat, so we waited until 6pm to head up there.
James and Parker are at a really fun age to take places like this. They know enough history and trivia to be impressed by the monuments.
They rode their scooters for 2.5 hours straight and enjoyed just about all of it.
This kid barely left the scooter.
